【Pre-Malaysia Maximum Card 马来西亚老极限片】

Early Malaysian maximum cards are scarce since the collectors then focused on stamp collecting and virtually no one knew about Maximaphily. However, there do exist some early Malaysian maximum cards believed to have been created by tourists or foreign residents in this country. I found this maximum card of the Pre-Malaysia period which was created in the year 1963 when North Borneo (presently Sabah) was NOT even part of the country. The postmark cancellation was done @ Jesselton (former name of Kota Kinabalu), the capital of North Borneo. This is a nice piece of maximum card depicting a clouded leopard which is fully concordant of the image on the card with that of the subject on stamp. A maximum card of age records a little on history makes the collectible interesting. I like it !

马来西亚老极限片稀少，在早年的时代，集邮人多着重于收集邮票，或许那个时候本土还不曾有人知道极限片是什么个东东。然而，老极限片还是存在。一般相信这 一些老极限片多是过境游客或是一些旅居本地的外国人所制。多年前我找到一枚马来西亚成立前的极限片，1963年还没加入马来西亚的北婆罗洲（现称沙巴）云 豹极限片。盖的邮戳是杰西顿 （亚庇旧称）。一枚极限片上的邮戳记录了历史。我喜欢！
